Laptop Mag posted this nice little tour of the Lenovo X300. Looks great, covering so many of those shortcomings of the Apple Airbook, at the cost of more girth. The guy in the video hefts it around, making it implicitly clear that it is not nearly as thin as the Air, but what’s a few more millimeters? The more massive issue for me will be Windows Vista. A Mac OS X powered Lenovo x300 is the magic unicorn I want to ride. Professionally. Just saying. [Laptop Mag]

Picture%207.jpgA professor from the University of L’Aquila in Italy says has discovered a clue which may point the way to the fabled G-Spot—or at least prove that some lucky ladies have it, while others don’t. Emmanuele Janini’s findings (he scanned 20 women, 11 who experienced vaginal orgasms and nine who didn’t, with a vaginal ultrasound) have set off a raging debate inside the wonderful world of lady-pleasure.

Tissue in the urethrovaginal space of the women who were no stranger to vaginal orgasms was, apparently, thicker than in that of the non-vaginal ones. This, states Janini, is evidence that women without any visible evidence of a G-spot can’t have a vaginal orgasm.

Beverly Whipple of Rutger’s University School of Nursing in Newark, the team which coined the term G-Spot, is sceptical of Janini’s findings. “It is an intriguing study, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that women who don’t experience orgasm don’t have any tissue there.” She reckons that the test would benefit from having women stimulate themselves first, and then repeating the ultrasound tests, as the area is believed to swell under physical pressure.

Janini is planning to continue his studies (of course he is) but says that women should not feel despair if they are unable to have vaginal orgasms. “One clear finding is that each woman is different,” he says. “This is one reason why women are so interesting.” And I thought it was our brains. Hi-Can.jpgDetails are sketchy at the moment, but the Hi-Can high fidelity canopy features beautifully designed equipment that allows you to surf the internet, watch movies, play games, and listen to music all from the comfort of your bed. There is even a slick looking control panel on the headboard that allows you to control other gadgets in the room. At this point, the Hi-Can looks as though it is only a concept from designer Edoardo Carlino—but the video after the break ends with the words “coming soon.” One can only hope.

AirDrives Now we’re speaking. Back in July, yours truly did a post on the new AirDrives headphones — you know, the headphones that basically sit on the outside of your ear “eliminating the need to choose between music and social interaction” — and I mused that they might be better positioned as workout headphones.

Well, Mad Catz has gone a step in what I believe to be the right direction by offering up an iPhone-friendly headphone/mic combo (also compatible with BlackBerry Curve and Pearl). Any cell phone headset that can let outside noise back in would be nice and safe in the automobile. Let’s hope Mad Catz releases a universal 2.5mm version too.

Cheap? No sir, they’re $99. However, they’re made to be worn all day because they don’t actually go inside your ears.

logitech-driving-force-gt-racing-wheel-for-gran-turismo-5-prologue-big.jpgLogitech’s no stranger to racing wheels, but their latest PlayStation 3 wheel looks even fancier than its predecessors. There’s a 900 degree lock-to-lock turn, which means you can maneuver it much like an actual wheel on your Toyota Corolla when sledding about the tracks of Nurburgring. There’s also a horn, shifter, the standard PS3 controller buttons and measures 11-inches in diameter. Best of all, it’s even backward compatible with Gran Turismo 3 and 4 on the PS2 so you won’t have to wait until April for the PS3 GT5 Prologue. [Logitech via Crunchgear]
